Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 2026-08-01

Lucy Repurpose is a tool for repurposing content you have the rights to. This is where that line is drawn.

1. You must

  • Only upload video or audio you own or are licensed to process and redistribute in the form the Service produces.
  • Have the consent of any identifiable real person whose voice, face or likeness appears in what you upload.
  • Review AI-selected clips and AI-written captions before publishing them, and disclose AI-generated or AI-manipulated content to your audience wherever the law requires it — see Terms §6.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and not share them.

2. You must not use the Service to

  • Process, distribute, or help distribute copyrighted movies, TV, music, or other licensed material you don't have rights to.
  • Generate sexual content involving minors, or generate sexual or intimate content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent.
  • Create deceptive deepfakes intended to defraud, harass, defame, or impersonate a real person without the disclosure the law requires.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach the Service's security, or probe, scan, or test its vulnerability without our prior written permission.
  • Use the Service to build a competing AI clipping/repurposing product by systematically extracting our prompts, models, or pipeline behaviour.
  • Violate any applicable law, including export-control, sanctions, or content-regulation law in your jurisdiction.

3. Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate an account that violates this policy, with or without notice depending on severity. Repeat infringement of third-party copyright results in termination under our repeat-infringer policy — see DMCA Policy.

4. Report a violation

Email info@colopio.com with a description of the content and why it violates this policy. Copyright-specific claims should use our DMCA notice process instead, which has a faster, statutory response path.
